The Magic Kingdom Ride You CAN’T Go on Right Now

It seems like spooky season has arrived at Magic Kingdom.

We have seen Halloween merch hit the stores and pumpkins all along Main Street, U.S.A. Later this week, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party will begin. But it seems like we won’t be seeing any ghosts at Magic Kingdom for a few days this week — a popular attraction is closed.

The Haunted Mansion has been a topic of conservation a lot recently. We have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of the Hatbox Ghost at the Disney World ride and we have started to see some changes have already begun.

We also reported that the popular ride would be closed and now it officially is from August 7-9th. Our reporter stopped by this morning to check and the mansion is closed.

While Disney did NOT reveal a date for the Hatbox Ghost’s appearance, it seems like it could be soon. We aren’t positive that this closure is due to the ghost’s arrival, but we can hope!

We rode before the closure and we noticed some small changes that we had to look closely to see. Learn about those changes here!
