Everyone is TOTALLY telling you the truth when they say “dress to impress,” and it certainly applies here.

If you’ve waited in a long line to meet your favorite Disney pal, snapped a few photos, and been sent on your merry way with little conversation, it can be a little dishearting. Sometimes you just wish time would slow down so you could have those same magical moments you’ve scrolled social media and found. We’re here to tell you how your choices in park style will help increase your chances of having that unforgettable character interaction on your next Disney trip.
Disney World can be about dressing for convenience and comfort, but sometimes you really want to make a lasting impression — especially when you’ve waited hours (or a lifetime) to meet your all-time FAVORITE Disney pal.

But even if you’ve rehearsed that conversation with them in your head a thousand times over, sometimes you can be so starstruck that the words just don’t quite come out and it’s over just as quickly as it began. That’s alright, we’re here to help you slow down the clock, and help you stand out among the crowd.
Dressing up as the Disney character you’re about to meet really CAN make the world of a difference in your meet-and-greet experiences, just ask our AE team!

We’ve met with TONS of characters! Fry Bucket even met a whopping 27 characters in one day — you can watch her video about it right here.
One thing that really helps start and keep a conversation going is when they can see a bit of themselves reflected in your style choices. We’ve come prepared so you’ll know what to do for your next interaction! Here, we’ll show you!
Kylo Ren
When visiting Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, if you stick around long enough you could catch a glimpse of Kylo Ren roaming.
Since this isn’t a character that’s a traditional meet and greet with a line, you’ll really want to use the force to draw his attention in, like this intergalactic outfit we’ve put together.
Tigger
You can find Tigger meeting with guests in Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom.
We think this super comfy layered jumper outfit is just the right ‘fit to grab his ever-wandering attention. Just look at those earrings!
Woody
You’ll make a lifetime pal out of Woody when you set out to meet with him in Toy Story Land of Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
We think the cow print, yellow plaid, and paired denim footwear are just the right thing to make you something special.
Pluto
Now, there are several places to meet Pluto around Animation Courtyard in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the Friendship Ambassador Gazebo in EPCOT, and Discovery Island in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
We’re certain he’ll be wagging his tail in excitement to meet you in an outfit like this one with just a pop of green (around the collar, of course!)
Goofy
You can find Goofy around several parks too including Pete’s Silly Sideshow in Magic Kingdom, World Celebration in EPCOT, Discovery Island in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Grand Ave in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
How about meeting your old pal, Goofy in this kind of outfit? He’ll have so much fun picking out all the elements of your outfit and comparing them to his own.
Remy
Meeting Remy on a regular day may be a bit difficult as he’s not typically a character that’s out in the parks, so this one is for when you’re really hopeful to scurry on over to meet him at special events like after-hours parties.
We think pairing this soft pink tank with the slate grey romper and finishing it off with a few other pink touches like your ears and feet (just like Remy) will leave a lasting impression and be *chef’s kiss* “Bon Magnifique!”
Cinderella
You’ll be the belle of the ball meeting Cinderella at Princess Fairytale Hall in Magic Kingdom in an outfit like this.
Cindy will gush over your gorgeous gown, and we wouldn’t be surprised when she asks if your Fairy Godmother (and faithful animal pals) helped you craft this perfect outfit.
Minnie
Since Minnie can be found in several places to meet with around the parks, this is an outfit you could use again and again or be ideal for park hopping photos! You can meet with her at Pete’s Silly Sideshow in Magic Kingdom, World Celebration in EPCOT, Red Carpet Dreams in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Adventurers Outpost in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Pairing a solid black top with a polka dot red and white skirt or bottoms is just the look you’ll need to pull off. Pull it all together with a few splashes of yellow like Minnie’s signature shoes and bonus points if you can show off a gorgeous bow, too!
Buzz Lightyear
Join the ranks of space ranger with Buzz Lightyear when you meet him at Tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom.
This outfit is bright with vibrant colors of highlighted greens, purples, and standard white. There are so many fun variations of how to spruce up an outfit worthy of saving the galaxy you’ll be recruited for training in no time!
Stitch
Stitch can be one of the most interactive characters to meet in all of the parks so if you can pull off this look, he’s sure to feel super flattered.
You can find him for meet and greets in Tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom sporting lots of blue hues, fair pinks, and of course a beautiful Hawaiian-inspired flower flair.
Snow White
Snow White almost won’t believe her eyes when you come dressed in regal blue, a golden yellow tone paired with a neutral tan.
You’ll look ravishing dressed in an outfit inspired by the fairest of them all. Snow White is regularly available for meet and greets in Germany around the World Showcase in EPCOT and the porch at Town Square Theater in Magic Kingdom.
Belle
Pairing a gorgeous yellow tulle with a pop of red roses in small touches is the perfect outfit to tell your tales with Belle.
Bright yellows are what will catch Belle’s eye when you come to meet with her. She can be found meeting in France at the World Showcase in EPCOT and briefly in the Enchanted Tales with Belle in Magic Kingdom.
If you’re looking for an alternate look fit for a little town in a quiet village, we’ve got just the thing.
The denim-layered dress and red roses paired with the detailing in the black boots give just the hint of something there that may not have been as telling as before!
There you have it! This is going to be one of the best ways to show off your love for your favorite characters and increase your chances of having a wonderful meet-and-greet interaction. While you’re at it browse a few of our other AE styles and be sure to check back in with us at AllEars!
