Something spooky is brewing and it’s making its way to Disney World.
Disney PhotoPass is a treasure trove of filters, magic shots, and even ride videos to capture our best vacation moments, but the spooky season is rolling in fast and the photo filters are feeling the “spirit”.
Disney has announced their celebration for Halfway to Halloween is coming and Disney PhotoPass is helping us get into the spirit with an all-new filter.

As you can see from the preview above it looks like the filter will allow you to immerse yourself in multiple iconic scenes of the classic attraction including ghostly portraits surrounded by watchful wallpaper, a medusa-inspired framed portrait that shows your snake-like hair when there’s a flash, and even a photo-op with Constance the black widow bride from the attic.
Fans of the Haunted Mansion ride will recognize these scenes right away and this new filter really adds an era of foreboding flair to the fun you can have with photo pass lenses. It’s really starting to get us excited to see what other filters Disney might release for the Halloween season!
This news also comes on the heels of Disney releasing the trailer for the upcoming star-studded Haunted Mansion film starring Tiffany Haddish, LaKeith Stanfield, Jared Letto, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Owen Wilson.
This new filter will be added to the evergrowing lineup of filters available in the My Disney Experience app for you to “look alive”– we mean, play around with– and we’re dying to see what grim-grinning ghost hosts you can be!
