Hagrid's Motorbike Adventure Has REOPENED at Universal Orlando

A fan-favorite attraction at Universal Orlando — Islands of Adventure has been closed for refurbishment for the past two weeks, but today, guests can climb aboard this magical ride once more! Have you guessed what it is yet?

Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, a coaster in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Hogsmeade, takes riders through the Forbidden Forest to encounter some beloved creatures from the Harry Potter universe. After a two-week closure, this ride is up and running again!

Unfortunately, this ride suffered some extensive damages from Hurricane Ian in the fall of 2022, and needed some maintenance and refurbishment to ensure that the attraction and queue looked brand new and guest-ready again.

It seems that the most extensive damages were along the queue and into the area adjacent to the ride path, which could potentially cause a safety hazard and affect the atmosphere of the ride.

According to Universal’s website, the ride closure was to take place from February 21st to March 5th, so it opened right on time!

We’re so glad that guests will be able to board Hagrid’s motorbike again! Hearing this news really has us craving some Butterbeer…. Universal soon? We’ll see!
