EPCOT is Already Getting READY for New Year's Eve

Well, this weekend marks Christmas in Disney World — and the crowds are arriving in full force to celebrate. However, the end of the year is coming up, too — and we expect to see a LOT of guests partying it up at the parks.

Although park pass reservations are completely gone for both Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios for New Year’s Eve, you can still grab reservations for EPCOT, which will be open 9AM-1AM, making it a good alternative for the evening. A lot of special entertainment will be going on, and today, we saw the first signs that EPCOT is getting ready for the big night.

During EPCOT’s New Year’s Eve celebration, guests will be able to visit several pavilions that will be hosting their own DJ dance parties. Yep, you’ll be able to dance your way around World Showcase. We saw a set-up for some New Year’s Eve entertainment in Italy today!

Each country also has a fun announcement when New Year’s Eve arrives in the REAL version of that country, too, so keep your ears peeled. You’ll also be able to catch EPCOT’s nighttime spectacular, Harmonious, at 6:30PM. There is also usually a special countdown to midnight, including a fireworks show.

So if you couldn’t get those reservations for Magic Kingdom, you still have a chance to celebrate New Year’s Eve in Disney World in a HUGE way — at EPCOT. But hop on it — those reservations might run out soon!
