You Could Stay in the Ghostbusters Firehouse This Halloween!

Are you looking to have a totally UNIQUE experience for Halloween?

Sure, you could head to Disney World for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, visit Oogie Boogie at Disneyland, or spend Halloween on the high seas. But if you’re looking for a classic spooky movie experience, there’s something else you NEED to know about!

You, yes YOU, could take a trip to the iconic Ghostbusters firehouse and spend a night there (as long as you don’t mind sharing your space with a few ghosts!). 👻

Vacasa and Sony Pictures have worked together to create an exact replica of the Ghostbuster’s home base, the firehouse where the team met and conducted their paranormal research. However, instead of being located in the original film’s setting of New York City, this getaway is on the opposite coast in Portland, Oregon.

Set in a historic firehouse built in the 1800s, who knows what kinds of spooks and specters reside inside its halls! Vacasa and Sony have worked hard to transform this site, with amazing attention to detail that will impress even hardcore fans of the film.

From ghost-hunting equipment to Stay Puft marshmallows, there are plenty of discoveries to be made. You’d be hard-pressed to miss larger additions to the property, especially the replica of the Ghostbusters’ vehicle of choice, a 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor!

On the more practical side of things, you can fit up to five guests in the firehouse with its three twin beds and single sofa bed. There are two bedrooms, but just a single bathroom. You’ll also find a full kitchen within the 3-story firehouse.

One group of up to 5 guests will get the chance to experience a 3-night stay here from October 28th-31st, 2022. Talk about a Halloween adventure!

Starting October 21st at 10AM ET on Vacasa’s site you’ll have the chance to snag this cinema-inspired stay. The single stay will be available on a first-come-first-served basis, so set those alarms! If you manage to succeed, make sure you don’t have any plans from October 28th-31st, because you’ll be spending Halloween as a Ghostbuster!
