runDisney events are back in full swing at Disney World!

There are plenty of themed events to look forward to including the Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend, Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend, Springtime Surprise Weekend, and the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend. Speaking of the Princess races, registration opened for them back in June and it quickly sold out. However, we have an exciting update for anyone participating that weekend!
Disney just released a first look at the Princess Half Marathon Weekend Medals!

For anyone doing the 5K, you’ll receive this Jasmine medal that features Raja and the Magic Carpet!

10K runners will get the Belle medal with Lumiere, Cogsworth, Mrs. Potts, and Chip. Check out the castle in the background, too!

The Half Marathon medal features the one and only Moana and has a unique shape with the water on the medal! The flower in the middle says “Disney Princess Half Marathon 2023.”

If you are completing the Fairy Tale Challenge by running both the 10K and the Half Marathon, you’ll get a special Cinderella-themed medal!

On top of that, there will be new race weekend jewelry charms from Pandora! This is one of the things that you can pre-order online ahead of the race weekend.

The Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend will take place from February 23rd to 26th and if you can’t make it to the in-person races, you can still sign up for a virtual race! You will get the medals for whatever race you complete by running the length of the race at home.
