We’ve been focusing on the 50th anniversary at Disney World, but did you know there is another big anniversary coming up?

And no, we aren’t talking about the 100th anniversary of Disney — it’s almost time for the 40th anniversary of EPCOT! The big day is October 1st, 2022 and so far Disney has been pretty silent on any celebrations at the park. However, we did just get a sneak peek at the merchandise we can expect for the 40th anniversary!
On shopDisney, you can see that the EPCOT 40th anniversary collection is coming soon. But that’s not all, because you can get a first look at the new spirit jersey in the collection! The white jersey features “EPCOT 40” in rainbow letters — this is also one of our first looks at the 40th anniversary logo.

There is not currently a release date for the merchandise, but we’ll be sure to let you know when you can buy it online.
If you want to get a head start on the EPCOT celebrations, there is plenty of EPCOT merch you can grab now like the Harmonious Print.

Disney recently announced that a new nighttime spectacular would be coming to EPCOT sometime in 2023, so grab the Harmonious merch before it’s gone! The print is $39.99.

Don’t forget: the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival will still be in full swing when the 40th anniversary comes! Celebrate with an EPCOT Food & Wine Mug.

The mug is $19.99.

As we mentioned above, we’ll be on the lookout for Disney to release the 40th anniversary merchandise collection online and in the parks. In the meantime, there are still plenty of 50th anniversary souvenirs to stock up on and lots of Halloween merchandise is online.
Although we didn’t get too much news about EPCOT’s 40th anniversary at the D23 Expo, we did learn the opening timeline for the new Moana-themed attraction coming to the park! Disney also teased that a Moana and/or Zootopia land could be coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
We’ll continue to bring you the latest Disney updates, so stay tuned.
