Watch the FIRST Trailer for Tim Burton’s ‘Wednesday’ On Netflix Here!

Are you a fan of The Addams Family?

Whether you’ve managed to read some of the original comic strips (which originated in 1938!). watched the 1960s TV series,  or seen the movies from the 1990s, you’re probably familiar with the creepy and kooky family. One member of that family, Wednesday, is getting her own series — and now, Netflix has released a trailer for it!

Wednesday, directed by Tim Burton, will follow the character, as portrayed by Jenna Ortega, during her years as a student at Nevermore Academy. This Wednesday has psychic abilities and must “thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago — all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore.”

Wednesday also stars Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Adams, Luis Guzman as Gomez Addams, and Gwendoline Christie as Larissa Weems, Morticia’s long-time rival.

Netflix has not yet released an official premiere date for the new series, except that it’s expected during fall 2022 (which is soon!). With Halloween quickly approaching, it’s likely this new spooky series will debut sometime around then.

In the meantime, we’re still counting down the days until Hocus Pocus 2, which releases on Disney+ on September 30th. Bring on the spooky season!
