A 'RuPaul's Drag Race' Star Is Joining Marvel!

We’ve had a lot of Marvel news recently, and now we’ve got even MORE updates.

We’ve already gotten a behind-the-scenes look at one of Marvel’s new series, the D23 Expo has announced that Marvel panels have been added to the lineup, and we recently broke down the 5th and 6th phases of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But now we’ve got even MORE Marvel news. And it’s an announcement that’ll have fans of a certain reality series very excited.

A RuPaul’s Drag Race star is joining the cast of Marvel’s Ironheart!

Shea Couleé, one of the stars of RuPaul’s Drag Race, winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, and finalist on RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars All Winners has joined the cast of Marvel’s Ironheart in an undisclosed role according to Variety.

Ironheart is set to debut on Disney+ in the fall of 2023. It stars Dominique Thorne as engineering genius Riri Williams, who, in the comics that the show is based on, develops a super suit similar to Tony Stark’s Iron Man suit.

You can actually see a bit of Riri Williams in the trailer for the upcoming Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Anthony Ramos, Alden Ehrenreich, Lyric Ross, and Manny Montana will costar in the Ironheart series.

Couleé has been a big fan favorite on Drag Race from her start on the show in Season 9. She won Season 5 of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars. She then returned again on the seventh season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars. That season featured only winners of previous seasons.
