Over the past 18 months, we’ve seen quite a bit of reopening news from the Disney parks!
Disneyland Resort officially reopened earlier this year, and things have been slowly returning to normal, with restaurants, attractions, and hotels resuming operation. And now, a classic part of Disneyland is coming back soon — the monorail!
Disney announced today that the Disneyland monorail officially resumes daily operation starting tomorrow, October 15th! It has been a beloved staple of the resort since it first opened in 1959, and we’re sure that many people will be glad to have it back.

If you want to hop on and go for a ride, you can board in Downtown Disney or in Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park. The monorail offers some very unique views of Disneyland Resort, and if you’re staying at one of Disney’s three hotels, it’s a great way to bypass the main entrance.
We’ll make sure to share more as the monorail resumes its daily operations, so stay tuned to AllEars!
