Universal Orlando Team Members Required to Share Vaccination Status

Recently, there have been many health and safety policy changes in the theme park industry due to COVID-19.

Mask policies have changed in some places.

Mask policies have changed recently at Walt Disney World, and the Disney company is now requiring certain groups of employees to be vaccinated. But will Universal Orlando do the same? We now have more information.

According to Spectrum News 9, an email went out to Universal Orlando Team Members this week notifying them that they will be required to share their vaccination status.

Universal Orlando spokesman Tom Schroder told Spectrum News “We are urging all of our team members to be vaccinated, if they are able to do so.” However, they are not taking the next step to make it a requirement like Disney did.

  1. That just seems so wrong. Way to set them up for bullying. Next they’ll make them wear something identifying themselves. What are they going to do with this information? Put them in less public roles? Discriminate?
