This year, Disney World is hosting the Destination D23 fan event at Disney’s Contemporary Resort in honor of the 50th Anniversary!
The event will take place in November with several exciting panels and exhibits dedicated to Disney of the past and everything coming in the future. Tickets went on sale today, but if you’re hoping to buy some…you may be out of luck!
We logged on right on time to purchase tickets (they were exclusive to D23 Gold Members), and we were immediately put in a virtual queue. We only had to wait a few minutes before we made it through…
…but the preferred seating was already sold out! We tried to get general seating, but as we went to check out, those tickets were sold out as well! All of these were literally gone within MINUTES.
It looks like the event is going to be incredibly popular this year. With all those panels, we’re expecting some big announcements! The good news is that select segments of the event will be live-streamed, so we can tune in that way!
