Cirque du Soleil’s New Disney World Show Could Debut This Fall

Lots of entertainment has been paused since Disney World reopened last summer.

Drawn to Life

Cirque du Soleil’s Drawn to Life was originally supposed to debut at Disney Springs in 2020, but was inevitably delayed. The show’s opening date was pushed to November 2020, then to February 2021, and now, we’re still waiting for a confirmed opening date. Today, a small update was shared about the future of Drawn to Life.

The Los Angeles Times has reported that some of Cirque du Soleil’s shows will return to Las Vegas this summer. This return is a huge step for the group, whose performances have been paused for more than a year, causing them to file for bankruptcy protection.

Other Cirque du Soleil shows are expected to return later in the year, depending on the success of the ticket sales for the summer shows. Although the opening date for Drawn to Life isn’t officially confirmed, it is in the works.
