NEWS: Hong Kong Will Be Easing Its Coronavirus Restrictions Starting Next Week

Disney Parks around the world have been experiencing the impact of closures as strict health and safety measures are put in place.

Hong Kong has now also made a few changes to its every day operations.

Reuters has reported that Hong Kong will be easing its Coronavirus restrictions on February 18th with sports and entertainment venues reopening with extending dining hours as well.

Health Secretary Sophia Chan noted that catering businesses would be allowed to operate until 10 PM, while beauty salons, theme parks, movie theaters, and sports facilities would be allowed to reopen with health and safety precautions.

Since the cases have fallen below 30 a day compared to the previous 80 cases a day at the end of January, Hong Kong will begin to cautiously reopen different parts of the city. When the cases started to rise, Hong Kong Disneyland announced it was closing again for the third time back in November.
