New Series 'The Muppets Now' Set Will Premiere This Summer on Disney+!

We have a lot to look forward to on Disney+ in the coming months, from an original movie about super-secret royals, to the second season of The Mandalorian, each new announcement has us more and more excited for what’s to come! And now, we’ve got an idea of when to expect a truly Muppet-acular arrival on the streaming service.

The Muppets Now, a short-form series starring the Muppets, is set to premiere this summer on Disney+!

While not much information has been released on the series yet, at last year’s Disney D23 Expo, Disney shared that it would be a “short-form unscripted series” starring our favorite Muppets! This was followed up by a brief (and very much redacted) tweet from Kermit himself.

While no specific date was shared aside from the general “summer premiere”, we may get a little more information this Sunday, May 10th, when the Muppets make an appearance on The Disney Family Singalong: Volume II.
