It is with great sadness that we learned of the tragic passing of NBA legend Kobe Bryant, along with his daughter, Gianna, and seven other victims in a California helicopter crash earlier today.

In tribute to Bryant, ABC has announced they will be hosting a special tonight in memory of the NBA superstar.
According to the AJC, ABC News and ESPN have shared resources in putting together the special Kobe Bryant: Death of a Legend, set to be hosted by Good Morning America host Robin Roberts, a well as ABC News reporter Tom Rinaldi.

The special will take a retrospective look at Bryant’s life and career, through a combination of interviews from both “past and present basketball players, and people that knew him”.
The special is set to air concurrently on both ABC and ESPN tonight at 10 PM EST.
