The long awaited Obi-Wan Kenobi series on Disney+ has just been delayed, and the fate of Old Ben hangs in the balance. Will these production difficulties be overcome, or will the series be Order 66’d?

The Obi-Wan Kenobi series is set to feature Ewan McGregor reprising his role as the Jedi master in the years between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope.

The series is set to be directed by Deborah Chow (The Mandalorian), while the scripts were set to be written by Hossein Amini (Snow White and the Huntsman). However, now, Disney is on the hunt for a new screenwriter to helm the project, while reducing the number of episodes from six to four, with both Chow and McGregor still attached to the project.
