Walt Disney World imagineers use water throughout the resort. While most of the water is used for transportation purposes, water is also used for entertainment in shows like Fantasmic and for decoration like the Imagination fountain in Epcot. If you are designing a themepark about movies, why not use an old movie prop for some water decoration? I found the mermaid water fountain from the 1984 movie, Splash, near the entrance to the Backlot Tour and makes for a good start to Disney Pic of the Week on Water Fountains. Barrie and Lisa will be here Thursday and Saturday to share their favorite water fountains at Disney themeparks.
