These Are The 2024 Dates That We Will DEFINITELY Be In Disney World

2024 is just over a month away (WHOA) and we’re already planning our Disney trips.

Magic Kingdom

We’re sure some of you are too, which also means that a large population of Disney fans are getting ready as well. What does this mean? Well, you’ll want to expect crowds on most days, but some REALLY large crowds on super popular dates and events. Here are the 2024 dates we know WE will be in Disney World, and we know a lot of other people will, too.

After-Hours Events

We’re so thrilled that after-hours events are returning again in 2024, and we know many other Disney fans are too. At Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you’ll be able to experience after-hours events on select night from January 10th to April 4th, 2024.

EPCOT After Hours

Remember that these are specially ticketed events, so you’ll want to grab tickets as close to when they go on sale as possible so you don’t miss your chance.

EPCOT International Festival of the Arts

The first festival of 2024 will be EPCOT’s International Festival of the Arts, which you can bet we’ll be in attendance for!

This festival runs from January 12th through February 19th and is very popular, so be ready for the crowds, especially on opening weekend.

EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival

Another popular festival is EPCOT’s International Flower & Garden Festival. Again, this brings in a lot of crowds as the weather starts to warm up.

While we don’t have specific dates for this festival yet, we know it’ll be from early March to early July, so prepare yourselves!

Earth Day

Earth Day typically isn’t a big deal in 3/4 parks, but in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, it is THE DAY to visit.

Earth Day in AK (2023)

Earth Day falls on April 22nd, 2024, and Animal Kingdom usually celebrates with some special treats, decorations, and sometimes even character meet and greets, shows, or other attractions. Oftentimes, this is one of the busiest days in Animal Kingdom all year.

Star Wars Day

Similarly, Star Wars Day is a MASSIVE day in Disney’s Hollywood Studios which is where you’ll find Galaxy’s Edge.

Galaxy’s Edge

Sometimes Disney pulls out some special stops for this day, and other times they don’t, but it’s a very busy day in the park regardless. It falls on, you guessed it, May 4th every year.

EPCOT Food and Wine Festival

One of the biggest festivals of the whole year is EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival.

Food and Wine Festival

Once again, we don’t have specific dates just yet, but it will take place from July through November 2024. Since this is EPCOT’s longest festival, it can sometimes attract the most crowds, especially towards the beginning and end of the event,

Halloween

Like every year, Halloween was a massive hit again in 2023, and we’re expecting it to be the same in 2024.

Halloween in Magic Kingdom

The whole Halloween season is quite busy in Magic Kingdom especially, but the week leading up to Halloween and the holiday itself are easily the most crowded. This is often because of the ever-popular Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

The Entirety of November and December

A lot happens in Disney World during the last two months of the year, so let’s just highlight a few of the reasons it’s one of the most crowded times:

Grand Floridian during the holidays

Some people only prefer to visit Disney World when it’s cooler out (smart thinking), and the holidays may be their only time to visit when they’re off from school and work. If you’re traveling to the parks during this time, prepare yourself for massive crowds.

2023 Festival of the Holidays Frozen Show

Now, if we’re being completely honest, we’re in the Disney World parks EVERY day, even when it’s not a holiday, but these are the days you can expect to see some of the highest crowds. As always, stay tuned to AllEars for the latest Disney news!
