This morning, Disney Parks, Experiences and Consumer Products Chairman Bob Chapek made several exciting announcements at the Destination D: Celebrating Mickey event being held at the Contemporary Resort.
First up: Coming in May 2019, in time for Disney’s Hollywood Studios‘ 30th anniversary, there will be a new projection show on the Chinese Theater.
Called the Wonderful World of Animation, this new show will feature Mickey Mouse. The show will use state-of-the-art projection technology and will take guests on a magical journey through more than 90 years of Disney animation.
