About Michelle
Michelle, an AllEars® Feature Writer and blogger, ran her first runDisney event at the 2009 Walt Disney World Half Marathon to support a fund in honor of her mom, Marlene, who lost her battle to cancer in 2003. Michelle has been active in sports all of her life, but came to running later and now loves it.

Among her duties as Co-Captain for Team AllEars, Michelle serves as a mentor to new runners and enjoys introducing others into the sport of running.

She is now a veteran of a 10-runDisney events and has run at both the Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort. Her most recent achievements include earning her Coast-to-Coast Challenge Medal and participating in the inaugural Walt Disney World Marathon Relay.

Mike ScopaAbout Mike
Mike has been running longer than he can remember. A veteran of over 24 runDisney events, Mike has pretty much run every course that has been offered at Walt Disney World and Disneyland.

His first Disney race was the 2005 Susan G. Komen 5K Race for the Cure followed the next day by the 10K Race for the Taste.

In 2007, Mike began writing a running blog on AllEars® to help potential runners learn what running at Walt Disney World was all about. Like his co-host and Team AllEars Captain, Mike also recently earned his Coast-to-Coast Challenge Medal and participated in the 2012 Walt Disney World Marathon Relay.

Mike is also one of the co-hosts for the popular WDWTODAY podcast. Besides appearing on the WDWTODAY podcast, both Mike and Michelle has also discussed running and the runDisney experience on several podcasts, such as the former Running to Disney (now This Running Life) podcast and the Pass Porter Mom Podcast.
