Coming in 2020: New Hotel Tower for Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin!

The Orlando Business Journal has reported that the owners of the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin are planning to build a new 349-room hotel tower on the current site of the Swan's tennis courts. According to OBJ, New York-based real estate firm Tishman and Metlife Investment Management have entered into an agreement with Walt Disney World to build the 14-story tower, which will break ground this fall and is expected to open in 2020.

New Look Coming for Walt Disney World Swan Resort Lobby Spaces

The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort is undergoing its next redesign project, a $3 million transformation of the Swan Resort's lobby, public spaces and coffee bar. Upon completion, the resort's two main lobbies, all guest rooms and meeting spaces will all have completely updated appearances.

An all-new Hawaiian luau-themed area will debut at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort's 2018 Food & Wine Classic on Oct. 26 - 28, taking guests on a culinary journey to the Pacific from the resort's private beach.
