The Stars of Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios Come Together at D23 Expo 2017

Filmmakers from Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios convened at D23 Expo 2017 today, revealing new details about their upcoming movie slates and introducing key voice talent, including Benjamin Bratt, Anthony Gonzalez, Josh Gad, Kristen Bell, Holly Hunter, Craig T. Nelson, Sarah Vowell, Samuel L. Jackson, Huck Milner and Sarah Silverman. And in an unforgettable moment, Auli'i Cravalho, Kristen Bell, Mandy Moore, Kelly MacDonald, Anika Noni Rose, Irene Bedard, Linda Larkin, Paige O'Hara and Jodi Benson came together on stage in a celebration fit for a princess.

‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ and ‘Ratatouille’ Attractions Coming to Epcot

Plans were unveiled unveiled at the D23 Expo on July 15 that Epcot will receive not one, but two new attractions inspired by popular films. A "Guardians of the Galaxy"-inspired attraction will be added to Future World, adhering to the original vision of Epcot's Future World as the place to experience the excitement and adventure offered by space travel. This new attraction will replace the current Universe of Energy attraction, which will close August 13, 2017. Disney-Pixar's "Ratatouille"-inspired attraction will be added to the France Pavilion in World Showcase. The attraction will expand the pavilion. Similar to the 4-D attraction Ratatouille: The Adventure that opened at the Walt Disney Studios Park in Paris in 2014, guests will be able to shrink to Remy's size and scurry to safety in a dazzling chase across a kitchen with the sights, sounds and smells of Gusteau's legendary Parisian restaurant. According to Disney leaders, both attractions will open in time for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort in 2021.

Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Chairman Bob Chapek Reveals Epic, Detailed Model of Star Wars-Themed Lands

During a special preview of D23 Expo 2017, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Chairman Bob Chapek unveiled a first look at the epic, richly detailed model of the Star Wars-themed lands under development at Disneyland park in Anaheim, Calif. and Disney's Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Fla. This stunning exhibition, on display in Walt Disney Parks and Resorts' "A Galaxy of Stories" pavilion at D23 Expo, is yet another example of the breathtaking new worlds, immersive storytelling and transformational guest experiences that set Disney apart. Chapek plans to share exciting new details about the project during the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Hall D23 Presentation on Saturday.

DISNEY CHANNEL, DISNEY XD, AND DISNEY JUNIOR ANNOUNCE STAR-FILLED EVENTS FOR FANS AT DISNEY’S D23 EXPO 2017

Disney Channel, Disney XD, and Disney Junior will present one-of-a-kind experiences during D23 Expo 2017, taking place Friday, July 14 through Sunday, July 16 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. The lineup includes Q and A panels featuring the voice casts of Disney XD's DuckTales series and Disney Channel's Tangled: The Series, plus a special appearance by the stars and director of the upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie Descendants 2. Disney Channel and Disney XD cast members from Stuck in the Middle, Bizaardvark, K.C. Undercover, Walk the Prank, and MECH-X4 will greet fans at the D23 Expo's Talent Central throughout the weekend.
