Good theming, good food, fun for our family
Pros:
Good food, great atmosphere. Good drinks from the bar and a good dessert. We dined on Christmas Eve, 2024. The restaurant was busy, but we got a good table for our family of 6, including our 4 kids. Everyone enjoyed the food and my husband enjoyed a couple of creations from the bar. We thought service was attentive and helpful. We didn't have any issues with our visit.Cons:

I have never had a better cookie!! ? I mean, how could this place get any better???? The line isn’t even that bad, and when it is you can just join the virtual queue. I don’t even care how long I have to wait for these cookies because they are worth any wait. My only con is that our bag broke in the airport and some of our cookies fell on the floor which was heartbreaking ? because those cookies are a gift from heaven. If you’re in Disney Springs, don’t even think twice before you get them because they’re THAT GOOD. I don’t care how long the line is!!!

I came here one night during my trip the day after St. Patrick’s Day to get the St. Patrick’s Day special. It was mint and chocolate swirl in a chocolate cone, with green sprinkles, and a white chocolate shamrock. It was very cold but I wanted it. It was decent but I had a green tongue for two days. Overall, this place is probably decent but I think there are better dessert options in Disney Springs. ☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️

I LOVE SUMMER HOUSE SO MUCH!!! The guacamole was the best ever!! It was so good that now I like avocados even though before this guacamole I didn’t even like avocados! My meal was decent but because I ate so much chips and guac I wasn’t that hungry. I got a cookie from the cookie bar which was also decent, but I’d much rather walk across the street to Salt n Straw, or to Gideon’s if you’re looking for a PERFECT cookie. Without the guacamole, Summer House wouldn’t be the best, but because of the guacamole, IT IS THE BEST ❤️! Even if you don’t like guacamole because I didn’t, please try it it is life changing. If that doesn’t satisfy you, then get the Cheesy Dream Puffs because they’re pretty good as well. Their guacamole was so good that we came back for it another time during our trip. Also they have really good lemonade, and the kids menus actually had different things to do unlike all the other restaurants that give you the Cuties one. I definitely recommend Summer House for your next trip. The guacamole SELLS IT. ? ?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️???????????????
PRO TIP: If you don’t get the chance to go to Disney Springs during your trip and eat there, they actually have a location INSIDE the Orlando Airport which is also supposed to be just as good.

This happens to be a favorite for my family. Think of Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings and endless servings!

BEAUTIFUL accommodations, but being a GEN Xer, I still prefer the nostalgia of the old Polynesian rooms and theming. My husband coined the comparison as old tropical vs new tropical. I did not like the bright white lighting in the rooms, but that's just me. The rooms are definitely not dark, so if you didn't like that about the original villas, you will love this upgrade! I prefer a separate water closet and this one, although partitioned with a glass view-obscured door, it's still in the same room that girls are getting ready in - wink wink. LOVE the shower! Beds were so comfortable. I know the high bed is popular, plus plenty of room underneath for storage, but some might find it a bit hard getting into, especially if you're older. I watched Happily Ever After from my patio - it was lovely and the music is piped in. The pool needs foliage! It does not fit the vibe and actually feels like a park district pool. The restaurant, Wailulu on property was amazing with delicious food and such a great vibe if you're lucky enough to snag a seat on the outside. The lobby is beautiful and nice to spend time in - staff extremely helpful and friendly. The elevators, well, all I have to say is good luck if you're not tech savvy. I get it though, everything is safe and secure. It felt like you were very far from the main building, Lava pool, etc. but I google mapped it and the footage is actually almost the same as if your were staying in the Pagu Pagu building. Unfortunately, the walk to the TTC isn't great in this new tower, but we had family staying in the Villas at Grand Floridian and it was super quick to pop in on them/use their quick service and shop! I rated an 8 while I would rate the regular Poly a solid 10. Others that I give a 10: GFV, AKL, BWV/BCV

Things I’d rather do than ride this ride:
Ride nothing at all
Wait in line at the DMV
Get a cavity filled
Sit in stand still traffic
Spend spring break in North Korea
Listen to 3 awful songs on loop- oh wait that is part of this garbage ride….
This ride quite literally is the worst thing I’ve ever experienced in my life. Save yourselves. It’s too late for me. I had never ridden this ride before so I ignorantly waited AN HOUR only to ride the worst ride ever created. Was there a plot? Who knows. You’ll be too busy plugging your ears in anticipation for the next DEAFENING blast of fog that will shoot out from the front of the “party bus” yes you read that correctly. In a FAST AND FURIOUS ride you will be riding a party bus at an astounding .00001 miles per hour while something happens on the blurry screen. What is happening on the screen you ask? Heck if I know because I was sitting in the middle of the row and couldn’t see anything. I think I heard Dwayne Johnson? Could have been a hallucination as my brain was trying to disassociate from what was happening around me. When I tell you every person on the ride looked like they had just been through the most tragic event of their lives… not a single smile was had. Seriously do ANYTHING ELSE. I understand you are looking into riding it because the wait times of other rides are really long but trust- waiting in line for something else will be more fun.

Another Parkside Gem! PARKSIDE MARKET has quickly become a must-stop whenever in Disneyland .. .. Their CHICKEN SANDWICH is delicious, right up there with HOLDAAK or CHIK-FIL-A .. ..

This ride is boring and oudated! I can't wait for the rivers to be drained so we can finally have a beautiful cars area and an awesome villains land! I am so tired of the constant whining about losing an inferior Rivers of America! Disneyland's is way better! Drain the Rivers Now!
