I enjoyed this dinner show more than any other dinner show I have seen. The costuming, singing and dancing were outstanding. I did laugh out loud at the jokes! The food was very good, and plentiful. The bottomless Sangria made the show even more enjoyable. We were able to make reservations for the later show the day of the performance.

Pros:

Fun, interactive entertainment while enjoying delicious food

Cons:

You're forced to wait in a long line for a photo opp prior to gaining entrance to the show

After reading all the glowing reviews I felt let down by the show and the food. The show was not as good as the reviews I read and the food was not as good either. The show was ok not great and the food was nothing special. The chicken was dry and the ribs were too syrupy. I did not think this was worth the money and we sat 15 feet from the stage. Will not go again.

Pros:

Dinner and a show

Cons:

not as good as the reviews

The only thing I don't like about Hoop de Do is having to park car and take bus inside Ft Wilderness. Loved everything about food and show.

There were 6 of us. Cat 3 seating which was a long table on side of balcony. Kind of awkward with children but we could see everything well. maybe felt like we didn't get to be as much a part of the show as main floor. DDs8, DS6 liked it too. And baby stayed entertained.

Fried chicken and cornbread were fantastic! Ribs were so-so and could have done without. Strawberry shortcake dessert was delicious.

Pros:

Great food, fun show

Cons:

Jan 31, 2013, 6:15 seating. First time attendees, loved the show. We purchased the Cat1 seating. Since it was just the two of us, we ended up in the "sweetheart" table, next to the stage, right in the center of the stage.

Ribs were good, but not great. Fried chicken was awesome! Side dishes were all very tasty. They bring out a LOT of food - way too much for the two of us. Was disappointed to find out uneaten food has to be discarded. Would have liked a doggie bag option.

Show was fun, with good audience interaction. Cast celebrates birthdays and anniversaries. Server was great and we never ran out of drinks.

All seats are good in this show. The balcony offers just one row of tables along the side and back, so there are no bad seats in the balcony. Some of the seats on the floor on the sides might not have as good of a view of the stage. I have a picture of the room, but not sure how to post it here.

Prices are inclusive of tax and tip, and there is an option to use the dining plan.

For those staying on property, there are special buses available after the show to take you back to your hotel - no need to go to the TTC, etc. Our bus was zoned for Pop, Art of Animation and Carribean (IIRC). This was a great option to have, since by the time we finished, most of the parks were closed.

Pros:

Lots of food, fun show, good transportation after show

Cons:

uneaten food is discarded

We enjoyed this dinner show for the second time. The previous time was in 2006 and the show was just as fresh and funny as it was then.

We had a table on the floor, 2nd row center. Perfect. We booked the late show (8:30) on the dining plan, so we were able to get category 1 seats.

The food was plentiful. A variety of choices for everyone. The way they serve the food in buckets is quick and efficient and it fits the country theme. We loved the cornbread and strawberry shortcake with whipped cream.

The entertainers are the main reason to attend the Hoop de Doo and they were great. It is hard to believe how many shows they do each night, day after day and, yet, it is like they are performing just for you. Kuddos to all the musicians! You kept us laughing all evening.

Pros:

Great fun, enjoyable evening

Cons:

None at all!

Party of 17 had a great time. We thought food was delicious, entertainment a lot of fun, atmosphere great for family. Kept adults and kids alike well entertained. It was our first Hoop De Doo Revue but everyone agrees that it will be a must do each time we visit Disney World. We used two TS per person on dining plan and were seated midway back on main floor. It was a lot of fun.

Pros:

all

Cons:

none

This was our first time experiencing the Hooop De Doo, and I imagine most future trips will include it.

We attended the 4pm show the first week of December 2012, and our group of 17 was split into two tables. We had tier II seating and used the DDP. There were no tables sat on the upper floor.

Taking the boat from MK is the most efficient option. It will dock @200 yards from the theatre. There are a couple of playgrounds along the walk to occupy the little (or big) kids in your group.

If you like BBQ chicken & ribs, cornbread & beans, and salad & bread... you'll love the food. If you don't, well... you should 🙂 The show is very entertaining and will prompt giggles from young & old. They do an excellent job engaging the crowd, and like all Disney experiences, they find a way to make everyone feel pretty special.

I've traveled to Disney a number of times on the DDP, and this is by far the most memorable use of a 2 TS credit.

Pros:

Entertainment, Food, Atmosphere

Cons:

none

A must see. I saw this show in the 70's when it was located in Frontierland. I told my family they were in for a treat and they loved it. They said it was one of the best part of the vacation. The only negative part is getting there. We weren't sure if it was located at the resort, campground or campsites. You have to take a bus to the transportation center at Magic Kingdom and we were going to take another bus but a cast member told us to take the boat it's much faster. Part of our party to the bus and once there had to take another bus. It's worth the money, don't miss it and make sure to make reservations.

Pros:

entertaining

Cons:

getting there
