Overview

You might remember that Disneyland recently phased out Genie+ and introduced the Lightning Lane Multi-Pass (LLMP) in its place. Additionally, the a la carte Individual Lightning Lanes have been rebranded as Lightning Lane Single Pass (LLSP).

The key thing to understand is that the Lightning Lane Multi-Pass (LLMP) and Single Pass (LLSP) are sticking around. The new Lightning Lane Premier Pass (LLPP) is separate from these and serves as an alternative line-skipping option for guests who prefer to skip the hassle of LLMP or LLSP. While LLPP will include the same ride options as the other Lightning Lane services, it’ll operate differently.

Beginning October 23rd, 2024, Disneyland is set to pilot a new attraction entry option, available in very limited quantities: the Lightning Lane Premier Pass.

How to Guide

Matterhorn Lightning Lane

Before you buy a Lightning Lane Premier Pass, make sure that everyone in your party has valid theme park admission and park reservations for the same date linked to your MyDisney account—so you can purchase Lightning Lane Premier Passes for everyone who is eligible.

Lightning Lane Premier Pass allows guests one-time access to each Lightning Lane entrance at attractions in a single theme park per day, with the flexibility to use it at any time—no need to reserve a time slot in advance.

To purchase this feature, open the Disneyland app and search for “Lightning Lane Premier Pass”. Tap “Purchase” to get started. Follow the prompts to complete your purchase—and receive a confirmation.

Here’s how to make the most of it:

  1. We suggest arriving at the theme parks as soon as they open. Be sure to check the park calendar and operating hours before your visit.
  2. With your Lightning Lane Premier Pass, you can enjoy one-time access to each available Lightning Lane entrance at both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park for one day during regular park hours. Just make sure your park admission includes the Park Hopper benefit!

Pricing

Star Tours

The Lightning Lane Premier Pass will be priced at $400 per person, per day for park visits through December 31, 2024. Starting in 2025, pricing will fluctuate based on date and demand, ranging from $300 to $400.

Prices will be shown in the Disneyland app up to two days before your park visit, and purchasing is subject to very limited availability.

This is an additional price above your park admission ticket and your resort stay.
