Posted onFriday, May 27th, was the grand opening day for the Nomad Lounge and Tiffins restaurant in Disney's Animal Kingdom. First, and perhaps most importantly, the decor, theming, lighting, music, artwork, and woodwork in this space are absolutely stunning. Pixar and Disney Declare June 11 “Speak Like a Whale” Day
Posted onOn June 11, Disney Parks will celebrate Speak Like a Whale Day in honor of Disney-Pixar's upcoming film "Finding Dory" in a variety of ways:
Guests at Walt Disney World Resort will receive a complimentary button to celebrate the day (while supplies last).
At Disney Springs there will be "undersea" themed activities, including a live DJ, games and giveaways. Young guests can attend "Whale Speak University" and give speaking the language a try.
At The Seas with Nemo and Friends in Epcot, experts from Disney's Animals, Science and Environment Team will be on hand throughout the day to help guests find Dory and her friends and get a closer look at their world.
Remember that you can find Dory and some of her new friends at the Turtle Talk with Crush attraction at Epcot.
Preview: Disney Vacation Club Member Lounge
Posted onToday I attended a preview of the new Disney Vacation Club Member Lounge. This lounge is in the Imagination Pavilion in Epcot at Walt Disney World and can be accessed through the pavilion's merchandise store.

The lounge opens on June 6, 2016. It will remain open daily through the 25th Anniversary Celebration from 10:00am to 6:00pm. Disney Vacation Club Members will need their membership card as well as ID. A Cast Member will be at the bottom of the stairs (there is also an elevator) to check in you and your party. Read more....
