I’ve done quite a bit of traveling for my job here at AllEars, and recently, my teammate Quincy and I traveled around the world in 14 days.
With all those hours on a plane and spent in hotels, I’ve gotten pretty good at packing. Nowadays, when I’m taking a big trip, there are a few little luxuries I refuse to travel without!
First up, we’ve got the Sleep Eye Mask from Albatross. This thing is incredible for blocking out light so I can sleep on planes during the daytime or get good rest in any hotel.
It comes with a small drawstring bag for storage and a pair of earplugs to make sure you’ve got maximum relaxation potential. This has saved me many times when traveling internationally and desperately needing to get rest in a busy place!
Another comfort I love having on hand is this VINTATRE Women Kimono Robes Long Knit Bathrobe. Not every hotel we stay in comes with bathrobes, and it’s so nice to have something comfortable to get ready in, especially when you’re sharing a hotel room or cruise cabin with other people.
Also, keeping a robe in your carry-on bag could come in handy if your checked luggage gets lost and you don’t have pajamas to sleep in. Ask me how I know…
You ever gotten a piece of food stuck in your teeth that you can’t get out, and it just nags at you all day? I hate when that happens on vacation, in particular because I don’t want any tiny problems that could put a damper on the trip. That’s why I carry this COSLUS T40 Mini Water Flosser for Travel in my bag.
It’s rechargeable, has its own storage bag, and comes with four different heads for all your dental needs. Stay on top of your oral hygiene even while traveling, folks!
Finally, I always like to travel with my own blanket! Sometimes you’re stuck in a freezing airport, or you just can’t get comfy on your flight. Occasionally, you stay in a hotel room with people who like the temperature to be absolutely frigid. In those situations, I’m glad that I packed my Vera Bradley Disney Fleece Blanket.
These blankets are soft and fold up compact for easy storage in your backpack or luggage. It’s just another little luxury that makes me feel more comfortable while traveling!
