Disney Debuts CHANGE at "it's a small world" Ride

We’re sorry in advance for getting this song stuck in your head — but it’s for the BEST reason ever.

A while back, Disney announced that changes were in store for “it’s a small world” at Disneyland and Disney World. These changes were to include a brand-new verse, written by Richard M. Sherman as his final contribution to Disney. That new verse has finally debuted, and we’re bringing you our full thoughts!

A NEW verse has debuted on “it’s a small world” at Disneyland and Disney World! The verse was written by Richard M. Sherman in his last contribution to Disney. We got the chance to check it out, and we may or may not have cried.

You can read the new verse below:

“Mother Earth unites us in heart and mind
And the love we give makes us humankind
Through our vast, wondrous land
When we stand hand in hand
It’s a small world after all.”

We checked it out in Disney World first (East Coast perks!).

It felt so special and made us smile ear to ear when we rode through.

We also had to try it out at Disneyland, and spoiler alert, it made us just as happy. Maybe it was the presence of more Disney characters throughout the ride or that it’s at the original Disney Park, but we’ve been singing this all day long.
