There are a lot of perks for staying at a Disney World hotel on your vacation, and one of those is more time in the parks with lower crowds!

All Disney resort guests receive Early Theme Park Entry access, giving you a 30-minute head start at every single park, every day! You also get access to free transportation around Disney World, Disney theming at your resort, and more. But, for those who stay at a Deluxe Resort, you get even more chances to visit the theme parks with lower crowds through Extended Evening Hours.
If you’re looking for a travel agent to help with your vacation, we recommend our friends at Mouse Fan Travel. They’re experts in the field with over 20 years of vacation planning experience, and they can help take a bunch of the stress out of the entire booking process for you!
Disney World has announced that Extended Evening Hours are returning in 2026! This perk is offered exclusively to guests staying at Deluxe Resorts and Disney Vacation Club Resorts on Disney World property.
If you’re staying at any of the following Deluxe Resorts or Deluxe Villa Resorts, you can spend more time in the parks after they close:
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
- Disney’s Beach Club Resort
- Disney’s BoardWalk Inn
- Disney’s Contemporary Resort
- Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
- Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
- Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
- Disney’s Yacht Club Resort
- Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
- Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
- Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas — Jambo House and Kidani Village
- Disney’s Beach Club Villas
- Disney’s BoardWalk Villas
- Disney’s Old Key West Resort
- Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows
- Disney’s Riviera Resort
- Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa
- The cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort (only for Disney Vacation Club Cabins)
- The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
- Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel
- Walt Disney Swan Reserve
- Shades of Green at Walt Disney World Resort

Extended Evening Hours give you two extra hours after the park closes to hop on rides and enjoy low crowds and low wait times! It’s a great perk if you’re trying to accomplish everything in the park in one day, but it’s important to check the list of available attractions before you go, not every ride or show is open during those extra hours.

Extended Evening Hours typically take place twice a week, with the dates and parks changing depending on the season. We’ve seen Extended Evening Hours offered at all four parks at different times in the past, but they seem to happen most often at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT.

So if you’re heading to Disney World in 2026, you can start planning your vacation schedule now! For more theme park news, follow AllEars.net to stay in the know on everything that’s happening!
