UPDATE: See Construction Progress at the NEW Universal Texas Theme Park

Universal has seriously been going wild as of late!

Epic Universe is opening, they’ve announced another whole new park coming to the UK, Universal Horror Unleashed is coming to Las Vegas this year, and NOW we have an update on their new Universal Kids Park!

It was last year that we heard about this plan for a NEW Universal Park in Texas, but there weren’t a ton of construction updates or news on the park. We wonder why…oh, right, Epic Universe!

Well, now we finally have a construction update on the new park! We recently got a glimpse at the site where the park is going to be, and it looked like they were in the middle of building what could be the hotel at Universal Kids.

Is that the hotel?

The new resort will include a 300-room, themed hotel for anyone looking to stay on property. We don’t have full details on the theming, or what the hotel will include. We are hoping to get more information on it soon!

Construction underway!

This new park will be located in Frisco, Texas, sitting on 97 acres of land off Dallas North Tollway and Panther Creek Parkway. It will be a lot smaller than the Orlando parks and is set to open sometime in 2026.

The park will feature all sorts of attractions, including rides, shows, and character meet-and-greets. Like in the name, Universal Kids Park, the park is meant for kids and families — and is built for a 1 to 2-day vacation.

The new resort is going to be filled with characters that you know and love. The new park will feature themed areas inspired by Shrek, Minions, Spongebob Squarepants, Jurassic World, Trolls, Puss in Boots, and Gabby’s Dollhouse. It’s going to be filled with activities and attractions of all sorts.
