NEWS: Disney Announces Magic Key Passes Will Go on Sale Again Tomorrow

For avid Disneyland goers, buying a Magic Key Pass can help save quite a bit of money (and stress)!

Magic Key Passes are basically Disneyland’s version of Annual Passes, but they’re a bit more exclusive. They sell much less of them, and they only go on sale occasionally. The last time sales opened for Magic Keys was in January , 2024, where there was an incredibly long wait in a virtual queue — and passes still sold out. If you weren’t able to snag your Magic Key pass in January, you’re about to have another chance!

Disney just shared that Magic Key Pass sales will resume on March 5th, 2024.

All four pass types will be available for purchase, and they’ll go on sale no earlier than 9AM PT. However, you can begin joining the queue at 8:45AM PT. We definitely recommend getting your spot in the virtual queue as soon as possible, because that wait was LONG in January.

The best way to enter the website and avoid that error screen is to go to disneyland.disney.go.com/passes. This is your best chance to avoid the issue a lot of folks had last time — the screen kept giving them an “error” message and wouldn’t allow them to buy a pass.
