NEWS: Two Cast Members Injured in Disneyland Chemical Spill

A chemical spill that occurred in the middle of the night at Disneyland caused injury to two Cast Members.

The vapor cloud injured one employee and sent another to the hospital.

According to the Orange County Register, Anaheim Fire & Rescue responded to reports of a chemical spill just past 2AM on Thursday, December 28th at Disneyland Park.

New Orleans Square

A vapor cloud of chlorine and another cleaning agent caused two Disneyland Cast Members to suffer breathing difficulties. One CM was treated at the park while the other was transported to UCI Medical Center in Orange County for additional monitoring.

Disneyland Park

No visitors were in the park when the incident occurred as it happened after park hours. The Anaheim Fire HazMat team is currently investigating what happened.
