Disneyland is one of the happiest places on Earth.

But sometimes things can go terribly wrong, even in Disneyland. While Disney can control what goes on inside their parks, they can’t control Mother Nature. And recently, Mother Nature led to a mishap inside Disneyland Park.
Disneyland saw some pretty terrible wind today, November 20th, regardless of it being protected by the surrounding city. This wind is thought to be the cause of a mishap leading to a park-goer ending up in the hospital.

Earlier today, a light pole on Main Street, U.S.A. fell over injuring three people and sending at least one of them to the hospital. According to Chip Yost of KTLA, firefighters believe it was caused by the winds in the area knocking over the pole.

We noticed that several of the outdoor rides have been closed down which could potentially be due to the winds as well. According to Yost, the wind also caused other damage in the area like a tree falling on a house and a small plane being flipped over on a nearby runway.

Be careful out in that wind in Disneyland today! It is certainly strong enough to cause some damage.
