If you’ve been to a theme park in the last two years, it was probably much different than it was before the pandemic.

COVID-19 has had a major impact on how theme parks operate. With many parks constantly adapting their health and safety measures as the virus and CDC recommendations continue to change, it’s difficult to stay on top of which theme park has what policies. Disney World, Disneyland, and Universal Orlando recently changed their face mask policies, and now another theme park has followed suit.

Back in December Universal Studios Hollywood updated their vaccination requirements due to the rising Omicron cases. Now, California has lifted its indoor mask mandate, which has prompted Disneyland to adjust its own mask policies. Universal Hollywood is also making some changes, though their policies are going to be a little bit different from Disneyland’s for now.

Universal Studios Hollywood has lifted its outdoor mask mandate, effective immediately. Guests are still required to wear masks in indoor locations, but masks are no longer required while walking around outside.
