It’s the lobby of the Boardwalk! I figured since some of my family is there, I’d use it for the challenge. You can see Lucy the Elephant in the background; that little statue represents the real hotel in my home state. She even withstood Hurricane Sandy. I toured her a couple years ago; amazing! And Tom Higbee sees Lucy every day! Wonderful lady, the last of her kind!

You might just make out — or have seen it in the lobby for yourselves — the model roller coaster: the classic Atlantic City’s version of the Loop the Loop. Engineers were told to take Coney Island’s Flip Flap coaster and lessen the G-forces so riders wouldn’t get hurt as they did in New York.

Add the lobby’s Nanny chairs (they really are creepy) and we all learned something today! That or I really bored you. Let’s move on! 🙂
