Disney World Just Quietly Added A NEW Virtual Queue

Once upon a time, to enjoy Disney World’s most popular rides, you had to fight a mental war and an online app. Virtual Queues were no joke, and they still pop up from time to time. 

Now, Disney has quietly added a new virtual queue to hop in line for their newest store. If you want to shop till you drop, you’ll need to read this!

In case you missed it, a new store is coming to Disney Springs! Disney Drop Shop is a new store opening up in Marketplace Co-Op on November 21st, 2025! This new store will let guests shop for blind boxes, exclusive merchandise, and fan-favorite collectible brands like Cosbi, Beast Kingdom, and Pop Mart.

We don’t know what will be offered just yet, but Disney has already teased that there will be a blind box collection of Ewoks from Star Wars dressed in different outfits! It looks like there will be eight different ones to collect, and we can already tell these will be insanely popular.

While we are excited for these blind box surprises, we aren’t quite ready to battle the virtual queue system again. Disney has confirmed that a virtual queue will be in place to get inside, and no discounts will apply. That means no Annual Passholder, DVC, or other discounts at the time of writing. The virtual queue can be joined on the My Disney Experience app. On the app, you can see the spot to join the queue on the home screen.

Traditionally, Disney has these location-locked, so you can only join the line if you are in Disney Springs. Once it’s your turn to enter, they will send you a push notification when it’s your turn to enter the store. You will have a limited amount of time to go back into the store.

Rumors have also been circulating about the store, including a rumor that the shop will have dedicated areas for influencers who want to film or stream unboxing videos! Disney did not mention that in its announcement, so it’s something to keep your eyes peeled for.
