Well, if you’ve been wanting to ride Storybook Land Canal Boats, you won’t have to wait much longer. The ride is reopening on November 14th.

When Storybook Land Canal Boats reopens on November 14th, you’ll notice a brand new scene. Rapunzel’s tower from Tangled will be added to the ride. The tower will be located between the Patchwork Quilt and Toad Hall. You’ll also see wanted posters for Flynn Ryder (did they get the nose right, though?). During the day, you’ll hear When Will My Life Begin? as your boat floats by, but at night, you’ll hear I See The Light.

Storybook Land Canal Boats is a highly underrated attraction. The boat ride takes you through miniaturized versions of some of the most iconic scenes in Disney’s animated movies, including Frozen, Peter Pan, Pinocchio, Alice in Wonderland, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Beauty and the Beast, and more.

The ride dates back to the opening of Disneyland in 1955 when it was just the Canal Boats. The miniature buildings and scenes were added in 1956, after which the ride’s name was changed to Storybook Land Canal Boats. The boats are all named after Disney characters.
