Planning a trip to Disneyland and not sure where you should eat while you’re there? Luckily, you’ve come to the right place!

Here at AllEars, we know all the ins and outs of Disney restaurants — including where you should definitely eat, and where you should skip. We recently stopped by Corn Dog Castle in Disney California Adventure and are bringing you our FULL review!
Background
At Corn Dog Castle, you can eat like royalty! This quick service is an outdoor walk-up stand that is considered a staple in Disney California Adventure.

It opened with the park in 2001 and became a big hit! This restaurant keeps its menu simple. You can find made-to-order corn dogs, fried cheese, and a few rotating items at this kiosk. It’s located near the Paradise Gardens section of the park next to Goofy’s Sky School! Here’s what you need to know about dining at this restaurant.
Atmosphere
This spot keeps its atmosphere like its menu — simple!

You can either walk up to order or utilize the Mobile Order system.

In addition to their corn dogs and cheese, you can find sodas, bottles of water, hot tea, hot cocoa, and coffee to sip on. There is no dedicated seating area for this specific quick service, but there are lots of tables in Paradise Gardens.

But enough about that, what are we eating?!
Food
We decided to try the staples at this spot to see how they hold up! First up, we grabbed the Original Corn Dog for $11.29. This dog is dipped in corn batter and fried to a golden brown, plus it’s served with Cuties Mandarin or a small bag of chips.

It’s hard to go wrong with this one! Corn Dog Castle is one of the most consistent spots in Disney thanks to its quality and menu, and this corn dog just reiterates that! It was served fresh and hot since it’s made to order. The batter was fried perfectly with an amazing, crunchy texture. It has a subtle, sweet honey flavor that pairs well with the traditional hot dog inside. It was rich and beefy, while not being too chewy. This is a true classic!
Next, we tried the Hot Link for $11.49.

This is also dipped in corn batter and fried to a golden brown! It’s also served with Cuties Mandarin or a small bag of chips. This is essentially the original corn dog, but with a light spice! The aftertaste features a slight spice and subtle smoky flavor that you won’t find with the original. If you want a little extra flavor, we would definitely recommend this one.

Finally, we grabbed the Cheddar Cheese Stick for $10.49! Similarly, this cheese is dipped in corn batter and fried to a golden brown, and it’s served with Cuties Mandarin or a small bag of chips.

Even though this is the smallest item we tried, we would recommend you share it! We’ve always enjoyed these (they’re pretty famous), but we feel satisfied after a few bites because they’re so rich. It’s a rich cheddar flavor and has a melty and gooey flavor if you eat it right away.

This one is filling and hearty! We get why they’ve stayed so popular after all of these years.
Magic or Tragic?

You should skip this Disneyland spot if…

This spot is tried and true for a good reason! It’s a classic that offers amazing, delicious comfort foods. It might not offer the most unique options, but that’s not its purpose! We are fans of this spot and will continue to find our favorite easy bites at this location. In the meantime, we’ll be on the lookout for more restaurant updates from Disneyland Resort and beyond.
