NEW PERMIT Filed For Epic Universe Expansion

Epic Universe has been open for almost 2 months, and we are still obsessed!

Celestial Park

Universal Orlando’s newest theme park is making waves, and we have been there every step of the way. The amazing rides, mind-blowing snacks, wonderful entertainment, and more have really set this theme park apart. While we’re still living in that new theme park bliss, Universal is ready to potentially expand the new park already!

Yes, you read that right! Epic Universe expansion plans are already being discussed. Not only that, Universal has already filed permits! According to Fox35, Universal has officially filed paperwork with Orange County for a major expansion project at its newest theme park.

While the permit paperwork isn’t super clear, we do know that the permit describes “vertical construction,” and it will be located between the entrance and Super Nintendo World.

The construction is classified as a shop, warehouse, or restaurant. The permit also implies that the project will be roughly 40,000 square feet. There wasn’t an estimated timeline for the project. While it most likely isn’t a new ride or attraction, we are excited to see the new park growing so soon after opening!

Epic Universe

We have long believed that Epic Universe does have the capacity to add new lands, and while this isn’t a new land, it is a step towards new growth! We’re eager to get more updates on what this new project is and how it will impact the park moving forward. As always, be sure to keep following AllEars for more Universal news and updates!
