The Walt Disney Company is participating in the Sotheby’s AnimAID | The Art of Animation online auction to support the recovery from the wildfires in January 2025.

The auction will be online and will take place from April 23rd to 30th and beyond. Disney will also have pieces from Warner Bros., DreamWorks Animation, Sony Pictures Animation, and Paramount.

Pieces from Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar, Disney Television Animation, 20th Century Television, Lucasfilm, and Marvel Animation will all be available during the auction.

Proceeds from the auction will benefit local animators and their families who have been affected by the fires.

During the fires, Disney committed $15 million to LA fire relief and rebuilding efforts, and also gave complimentary tickets to Disneyland to first responders on the front lines of the fire.
