I LOVE Stitch, But I’ll NEVER Pay to Eat With Him in Disney World Again

This Disney World restaurant is popular, but should you eat here for breakfast or dinner?

‘Ohana

‘Ohana can be found at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Reservations can be hard to come by here, as this is a favorite for some Disney fans. You can dine here for dinner or head here for breakfast with a few rare characters like Lilo and Stitch. Dinner is a clear winner to us and here is why.

1. The Menu Differences

If you are eating at ‘Ohana for breakfast, you will find that the menu is similar to other Disney World breakfast restaurants. It will include eggs, pork sausage, Mickey waffles, biscuits, and more. If you want something more adventurous, this isn’t where you’ll find it — we will tell you other good options below!

Dinner, however, serves up more than just steak, burgers, and fries. You’ll be served a mixed greens salad, Honey-Coriander Chicken Wings, Pork Dumplings, Pepper Mirin-Teryaki Beef, and of course, the famous ‘Ohana noodles. This will offer more variety and unique flavors that you won’t find at many other Disney World restaurants.

2. ‘Ohana Bread Pudding

Another BIG reason to head here for dinner, the ‘Ohana Bread Pudding. This delicious dessert is served a la mode with homemade caramel sauce. It’s what dreams are made of, and you can only find it here at dinner service.

3. Close in Price

The adult price for breakfast is $53, compared to dinner for $65. A child’s price is $33 for breakfast and $42 for dinner. With the prices similar in cost, we think dinner here is a better deal. With the greater variety in food, dinner seems like a better option, and grab a quick service meal for breakfast to save money.

4. The Fireworks

If you head here for dinner, you could see fireworks! Simply book your dining reservation here about 30-45 minutes before fireworks begin, and when you arrive, request a table by the windows for a view of the fireworks at Magic Kingdom. There is no guarantee, but it’s worth an ask!

Ask for a table near the windows!

If you want to do an earlier dinner here, you can also catch the fireworks on the beach at the Polynesian, just a short walk away! They pipe in the music, and it’s a great view.

5. If Characters Aren’t For You

Maybe dining with characters isn’t for you, and that’s okay! Sometimes eating a meal at a character dining can be a distraction, and you might feel rushed. If you would like to simply meet Stitch once and not eat a meal with him, you can find him over in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom.

If You Want A More Unique Character Breakfast…

Tusker House at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is a good option if you want something more unique. The buffet here has a wide variety of traditional breakfast choices while also serving some African-inspired dishes. You can also meet Mickey, Goofy, Donald, and Daisy here in their safari outfits. It is also one of the cheaper character breakfast options, with adults costing $49 and $33 for kids.
