OPENING DATE Announced for NEW Disneyland Store

A lot is changing over in Critter Country at Disneyland!

What has been known as Critter Country for a long time in Disneyland Park will soon become Bayou Country. The new Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will be opening here on November 15th, along with the new name change taking effect that same day. Plus, Hungry Bear Restaurant is becoming Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree. But that’s not all that’s changing. Two new stores will be replacing previous Critter Country shops, and now Disney has announced when the first of them will officially open!

When Disney announced that Splash Mountain would become Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Disneyland, they also announced that two of the original shops in Critter Country would become new Princess and the Frog-themed stores.

The left side of Pooh Corner is becoming Louis’ Critter Club! When this shop was first announced, Disney didn’t share an opening date. But that has now changed! Louis’ Critter Club will open ahead of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure on November 13th!

This shop will likely sell Tiana’s Bayou Adventure merchandise and other souvenirs for Bayou Country, though it hasn’t been confirmed what we’ll all find there.

The other shop opening in Bayou Country is Ray’s Berets. This new shop will sell headwear, apparel, accessories, toys, and more. An opening date has not been announced for Ray’s Berets.

Much of Critter Country has been closed for all the construction as it undergoes its transformation into Bayou Country. However, some things may be open while it’s changing. Bayou Country and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will officially open on November 15th!
