Are you making travel plans for a Disney World vacation?
Whether you’re headed to Disney World or another vacation destination, if you’re flying, you’ll want to stay up to date on airline, airport, and federal policies and procedures that can affect you. It’s important to know your airline’s baggage policies, the airport’s security process, and more. Recently, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) made a change that could be a benefit for your next trip!
The TSA is the federal agency that provides security at airports and other transportation sites. At airports, you can use what is called TSA PreCheck, a program that U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, or U.S. lawful permanent residents can enroll in to have an expedited security experience.
TSA PreCheck currently has nearly 100 airlines participating in the program, but now two more have been added to make your travel even easier! Caribbean Airlines and RED Air travelers may now use TSA PreCheck if they have enrolled in and been approved for the program.
To enroll in TSA PreCheck, simply visit the TSA website and choose one of the enrollment providers. You’ll then submit your online application and the in-person enrollment, which includes fingerprinting, document and photo capture, and payment. Once enrolled and approved, you’ll receive a Known Traveler Number that you’ll add to your airline reservation. You’ll see a TSA PreCheck indicator on your boarding pass to ensure you are able to go through the line.
TSA PreCheck allows you to skip the potentially long waits in the regular security checkpoint line. So if you and you’re family are eligible to enroll in the program, it can be a time saver! Fly to Disney World easier with programs like TSA PreCheck.

Yes, i do use TSA PreCheck. Very much love the express line.
I love using TSA, because I gave cancer in my bones right now in my back and I can’t stand or sit for a long time so it helps to get thru the line faster and don’t have to take off shoes, jewelry and etc.
It sucks now. It was great initially. I was at LAX last week and the precheck had 15 people in line. The regular had 1 person. I jumped the rope and got thru the other line faster.
I fly 100x year. I go thru security smoothly. Now you have inexperienced travelers with precheck holding up the line.
Have all your stuff in your bag before you block the way for others to get their bags on. People are so inconsiderate. I can’t stand these people slowing up the line.
TSA pre-check doesn’t guarantee that you won’t get the full rub down. I wear an ankle brace with metal eyelaces and I get hassled every time by TSA, regardless of my precheck.
I have been using TSA pre check and am very happy with the service. It helps reduce wait time for airport security
I am satisfied with the service,
I like using the Pre Check as it it helps you to move faster.
I renewed before my PreCheck expired. I’m still waiting. They sent me a standard response that it might take some time. I wonder if my renewal starts upon the date I applied or the later date when I’m approved. Meanwhile I’ve flown about 5 times without the coverage.
They have my money. But they’re failing to perform.
I have a Sentri Pass.. Best way to go.. Shorter wait at Mexican and Canada borders.. as well as TSA Precheck.. and international immigration check.
I love it but I had a problem recently I took a flight that depart JFK at midnight when I got to jfk they told me TSA was close that was very upsetting because I paid for TSA and Clear and none of them were open for midnight flights
I have TSA approval, but never showed on my airline ticket, waste my money
You have to make sure you include the number in your traveler profile when buying your ticket.
I use it for the first time and I love it.
