Disney Reveals Themes for 2025 Princess Half Marathon Weekend

While there are still some events left on the calendar for 2024, runDisney has already started looking ahead to 2025 by realizing the themes of one of its most popular annual events. 

Scheduled for February 20th-24th 2025, the Disney Half Marathon Princess Weekend will allow competitors to take a “journey that finds our beloved princesses going up against the wonderfully wicked villains of their stories and realize your own potential along the way.”

runDisney has released the following themes for the weekend’s events:

The Disney Princess 5K takes place February 21st and will see guests “rise up with Mulan to face down the fearsome Shan Yu and his trusted falcon for 3.1 not-so-menacing miles.” Registration for the event begins on July 30th and will cost $114 through January 27th, 2025. Beginning January 28th, the registration close jumps to $124.

The Disney Princess 10K on February 22nd will see runners “Fly high with Princess Jasmine during a 6.2-mile showdown with the evil sorcerer Jafar.” Registration for the event begins on July 30th at 10AM EST and will cost $161 through January 27th, 2025. Beginning January 28th, the registration close jumps to $171. Club runDisney Gold and Platinum Registration begins July 23rd, 2024.

The Disney Princess Half Marathon on February 23rd has a Sleeping Beauty theme, featuring a “13.1-mile journey with Princess Aurora (a.k.a. Sleeping Beauty) as she confronts the wrath of Maleficent.” Registration for the event begins on July 30th at 10AM EST and will cost $246 through January 27th, 2025. Beginning January 28th, the registration close jumps to $256. Club runDisney Gold and Platinum Registration begins July 23rd, 2024.

The Snow White-themed Fairytale Challenge will allow guests to take home a special Fairytale Challenge Medal if they complete both the 10K and the Half Marathon. Registration for the challenge begins on July 30th at 10AM EST and will cost $412 through January 27th, 2025. Beginning January 28th, the registration close jumps to $422. Club runDisney Gold and Platinum Registration begins July 23rd, 2024.

After running all weekend, you may need some yoga to get your body back into shape. Disney Princess Yoga is scheduled for 5AM on February 24th. Registration for the event begins on July 30th at 10AM EST and will cost $122.
