Want to get all those magical Disney vibes without having to buy a park ticket? Disney Springs might be your answer!

This shopping, dining, and entertainment district boasts plenty of restaurants and specialty eateries, all the retail you could probably ever want, and more. We love stopping by to check out the latest souvenir releases, entertainment offerings, and of course — snacks! And now we’re bringing you a massive review of the latest eats and drinks we tried.
Flavors of Florida is back at Disney Springs! As of July 1st, restaurants and bars in the area have come together to create unique offerings that celebrate and are inspired by the state of Florida. Expect lots of citrus and Cuban-inspired dishes, and so much more. We got a sneak peek of some foods already, but now we’re bringing you a look at the rest of the eats we tried!
Orange Hazlenut Petite Gâteau from Amorette’s Patisserie
Starting off with a fancy treat, we grabbed the Orange Hazlenut Petite Gâteau from Amorette’s Patisserie. This is layers of orange mousse, orange curd, and honey-orange gel on top of a hazelnut financier.

We were shocked by this! It’s zesty and the orange mousse is a bit thicker like a cheesecake would be but it tastes like one of those orange slice candies without the hard sugar surrounding it. It’s a very rich smooth flavor that holds pretty consistently throughout the treat. The base is thick — like a really soft cookie, which we think warranted such a flavor up top but didn’t offer much in terms of flavor which was a bit lacking.

We didn’t mind this one but if you’re not a fan of heavy orange flavor (or those little orange slice candies) this might not be your speed.
Citrus Burger from D-Luxe Burger
The Citrus Burger is made with a pressed signature-blend patty, citrus-braised pork belly, grapefruit paloma aïoli, pickled and fried fennel, grapefruit jam, and lettuce. There are elements of this burger we really liked — the D-Luxe signature blend patties are always great, and we usually love their specialty burgers when they are topped with pork belly.

The fried fennel on this was a very interesting topping — we liked the sharp bite it gives to cut through the fatty meat, and it stayed crispy which added texture to the burger. We were served half a salad’s worth of lettuce on this burger, and wound up removing two-thirds of it. Please note there is pepper jack cheese on this burger — it is not on the description on the menu placard or the online menu. What we did not enjoy as much here was the grapefruit Paloma aioli. It had big chunks of fruit in it that just didn’t work with the rest of the textures on this sandwich.
Key Lime Pie Shake from D-Luxe Burger
We hope you like key lime pie because there are lots of treats that feature it, including this milkshake. It’s made with vanilla gelato blended with Minute Maid Lemonade and graham cracker crumbs topped with whipped cream, graham cracker crumbs, and a lime wedge.

It’s odd that this has no lime other than the lime wedge — it could have just as easily been called a lemon icebox pie shake and been more representative of what it is. The graham cracker crumbs mixed into the shake definitely make you feel like it’s pie though! It is tasty — it is just missing the flavors one would normally associate with Key lime pie — a tangier lime and that strong vanilla-sweetened condensed milk flavor. We would have preferred it to be more tart!
Datil Pepper Cuban Sandwich from Earl of Sandwich
Roasted carnitas, ham, Swiss cheese, sweet pickles, and datil pepper aïoli come together in the Datil Pepper Cuban Sandwich.

This has so many good flavors that truly work in harmony together. The roasted carnitas are perfectly cooked and are a tad juicy against the sweet pickles. The datil pepper aioli really amplifies the flavor of this one and packs just enough heat to taste it. The ham is very thinly sliced but noticeable since there’s a decent enough portion of it to taste and the melted Swiss cheese couldn’t steer this one wrong!

This sandwich was really enjoyable, and while it might not be your typical Cuban, it’s a fun take on it. You can also get Earl’s Creamy Orange Slush while you’re here!
Strawberry Shortcake Donut from Everglazed
As you might expect, this is a glazed donut filled with fresh strawberries and whipped cream and dusted with powdered sugar for $6.50.

The bun is not overly sweet which is a good contrast to the sweet glaze on the fruit. Again, this is a nice treat for strawberry fans but not one we would go out of our way for.
Italian Style Strawberry Soda from Everglazed
Fresh strawberries and strawberry syrup are topped with bubbly soda water and served over ice in this refreshing Italian Style Strawberry Soda for $5.50.

This is lightly sweet and cool and bubbly and everything you want when you’re hot and need a break in Disney Springs. Not a super stand-out treat but really nice without being heavy at all.
Key Lime Pie Shake from GhirardelliÂ
We told you there was plenty of key lime pie! This shake is made with Vvnilla ice cream blended with Key lime juice and graham cracker and topped with whipped cream, green sprinkles, and crushed graham crackers.

Boy, this baby was thick! But that’s probably helped out by the graham crackers that are blended into the shake. It’s honestly like eating a blended up piece of Key lime pie with the tartness and all. If you want sweet you won’t find much of it here because the lime juice in this shake makes it almost sour! It’s a weird taste when you typically want to associate shakes with a sweeter taste but it’s not bad. If you’re not very sour-tolerant though this one will be a problem for you.
Key Lime Pie Cake Bars from Gideon’s Bakehouse
Just when we thought we couldn’t love Gideon’s any more, they bring us Key Lime Pie Cake Bars made with soft Key lime cake covered in cream cheese buttercream, Key lime curd, and graham cracker crumble fully dipped in premium chocolate.

You really need to like chocolate and Key lime for this one but it’s sweet, tangy, salty all in one and it’s incredible! The chocolate is rich and sweet and made all the better when it starts melting in the sun, the Key lime is puckery tart and the graham cracker crumbles against the softness of the Key lime cake and cream cheese icing.

Gooey goodness but eat quickly cause it will melt FAST!
Key Lime Pie Sundae from Swirls on the Water
Talk about a sundae we can get behind. The Key Lime Pie Sundae is DOLE Whip Lime in a waffle bowl topped with whipped cream and a lime garnish for $6.49.

This thing is big and would be easy to split — it’s reasonably priced for the size! Lime is a very popular DOLE Whip flavor for good reason — it’s tart, light, and refreshing on a hot day. There aren’t really enough graham cracker crumbs to influence the flavor here, but if you’re a fan of waffle cones the bowl here adds that tasty crunch.
Orange Bird Cone from Swirls on the Water
The Orange Bird Cone is made with DOLE Whip Orange in an orange cone topped with orange crisp pearls and an Orange Bird garnish for $6.49.

If you like orange dole whip, that’s what this is. It’s described as having sprinkles but these are the crispy pearl topping that you get on many specialty sundaes here. It’s in an orange-flavored waffle cone rimmed in white chocolate. This is good — the orange-flavored cone adds a nice flavor over plain waffle cones! It’s a good value for the size.
Orange Bird DOLE Whip Float from Swirls on the Water
The Orange Bird DOLE Whip Float is pretty similar, but it’s made with DOLE Whip Orange and Watermelon swirl with Fanta Orange in a souvenir cup for $11.49.

Orange and watermelon DOLE Whip swirled might just be our new favorite combo. The watermelon is tart and we loved the way it plays off the sweet orange. It’s great melted into the orange Fanta of this float. This was my favorite of the 3 new items here. However, this float feels overpriced for what you get here.
Key Lime Tiramisu and Mango Spritz from Vivoli Il Gelato
The Key Lime Tiramisu is made with layers of mascarpone cream and lady fingers soaked in a sweet key lime sauce for $10, and the Mango Spritz is the ultimate summer libation made with mango sorbetto, Sprite, and prosecco for $13
The Key Lime Tiramisu tasted more like a banana pudding tiramisu than Key lime pie to us. It’s sweet like a banana would be and not sour or tart like you’d expect from something lime. The cake was fine but not anything memorable and almost tasted like it was made with honey mixed into the whipped spread.

We liked the Mango Spritz better! That mango gelato tastes like a freshly peeled mango and when it’s dropped into the Prosecco and Sprite mixture it gets a little fizzy on the outside making it so refreshing. It was a very welcomed drink on a hot summer day, but other than it being well made there’s not a lot that stood out about it beyond how fresh the mango gelato tastes.
Sunny Days Cocktail from eet by Maneet Chauhan
The Sunny Days frozen drink is made with whipped vodka and orange cream with an orange ice pop. This is a very tasty frozen drink! The slushy has the taste of a creamsicle without the heaviness of a creamy shake. It’s fun to eat the popsicle along with the drink.
This is a great way to cool down on a hot afternoon in Disney Springs. This is so refreshing you may forget it is alcohol but there’s definitely vodka in it. This is a much better value during happy hour (50% off from 2-5PM and 9-11PM daily) than paying full price for it, but at $15.95 it’s still a decent value for a cocktail in Disney World.
