Disney World has already rolled out a lot of changes this year…and a lot of them are for the better!

The Disney Dining Plan is officially back (and we tried it out so you don’t make the same mistakes), park hopping has returned to normal, and most visitors don’t need to make Park Pass Reservations anymore. However, some of you will still need to make Park Passes, and if so, there are some dates you need to know!
Park Pass Reservations are no longer required for date-based ticket holders. If you are an Annual Passholder or have another ticket that is not date-based, you will need to make a Park Pass to enter on the day you wish to visit.

UPDATE: As of March 6th, Park Passes have been refilled for these sold out dates. Availability will continue to fluctuate, so keep checking the calendar for the latest.
When looking at the Park Pass calendar, we noticed that two random days in March are sold out for Magic Kingdom — the 11th and 27th.

This is true for Select Resort Hotels guests as well.

Annual Passholders still have availability on these days at the time of writing.
So what is happening in Disney World these days? Well, on March 11th, Disney Spring Training kicks off. This event allows high school and college athletes to play baseball and softball at the ESPN Wide World of Sports. With these events, many of them end up going to the parks. While we don’t know if that’s exactly why Park Passes are sold out, that’s what is going on at Disney World on that day!

Spring Training will continue through April 7th, so that could be the reason March 27th is full. If you aren’t able to book a Park Pass for Magic Kingdom, consider getting a ticket that allows park hopping. You can start in a different park and then hop to Magic Kingdom afterward.
Park Pass availability fluctuates all of the time, so keep checking back if you need to book one of those days.
