CONFIRMED: MAX Cancels Another Series After 2 Seasons

We all have our favorite shows we love to watch, and words can’t describe how upset we get when our favorite shows are canceled.

Unfortunately, shows are often canceled on Apple TV+, ABC, Disney, and basically everything in between. If you’re a fan of one Emmy-nominated HBO Max (now just called MAX) show, we’ve got some bad news.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Flight Attendant has been canceled at MAX. The show had two seasons, with the latest season streaming in Spring 2022.

This show was based on the novel by Chris Bohjalian and centered around Cassie, an “alcoholic flight attendant drawn into a world of espionage when, in the first episode, she wakes to find a dead man in her hotel bed.”

The show was originally only supposed to be a limited series, with one season covering the events of the book, but after it became somewhat of a breakout show, MAX ordered a second season.

The show was produced by Kaley Cuoco, who also played the lead role and earned two Emmy nominations for her performance. The show also received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series in 2021.

When Cuoco was asked about the show, she said, “I always envisioned TFA as a limited series and thanks to an incredible creative team, we were able to deliver two thrilling seasons. Personally, playing Cassie has been a dream come true and I am so grateful for everyone who played a part in bringing this extremely original series to life.”
