Ok, this confirms it… Universal is the clear social media winner.

Between talk of Universal expansions and the latest updates coming down the pipe of Universal patents aiming to make its guest experience even better, it’s cool to see that they still can have a genuine sense of humor, even if it’s at another company’s expense.
Recently, Disney announced their “Good To Go” days coming up in 2024 for their Disney World annual passholders. This will allow passholders the option to just “go” to the parks without having to make a park pass reservation (like is the case currently for APs).

But Universal Orlando (being the jokester they are) just couldn’t let the buzz go by without hopping on trend too. Universal Orlando posted the following picture to their social media accounts and captioned it “good to go!”

Did you catch it? It’s someone holding a Universal Orlando annual passholder card in their hand for the Universal parks indicating subtly that their annual passholders don’t need to make a park reservation to visit any of their 3 parks (Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay). As a side note, APs never have had to reserve a park with Universal either.

So while the great debate may always be up in the air about which theme park giant reigns supreme, if this was a boxing match we think Universal would have totally KO’d Disney on this round. It’s nice to be able to laugh about such silly digs on social media that are geared toward friendly competition (all in good fun, y’all!)
